Civil Society Strengthening: Supporting CSOs to play their part in society, strengthening their strategic planning and the creation of networks, among others.

Capacity Development: Facilitating individual and organisational learning processes, developing concepts for capacity building and skill transfer to CSOs.

Fund Management: Facilitating fair and transparent processes to access funds for development and humanitarian aid. Also supporting the localisation agenda with a shift of power to the concerned counties.
Experiences are made in development contexts, humanitarian contexts, and in nexus between both.
Christoph Lodemann is a certified business economist and holds also a master degree in dramaturgy, aesthetics and culture. Trainings in change management, the core humanitarian standard, organisational development, and governance complete his educational background.
Intercultural collaboration and context sensitivity are key in his work. 14 years of postings in African countries have strengthened these skills. Christoph's approach to development is rights based and people focused, taking its starting point in people’s needs, rights and obligations.
Work experiences include assignments for international development agencies and INGOs such as MS / Action Aid Denmark, IBIS Denmark, the Danish Centre for Culture and Development, GIZ, and the consultancy firm Niras Denmark and Niras IP Consult.
Countries he has worked in: Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, Uganda and Vietnam.
Long-term assignments: Kenya, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
Language skills: English, German, and Danish on proficiency level. Portuguese and Kiswahili on conversation level.
